 A lady died and seven others were injured in separate road accidents across the valley.

In Kulgam, an unknown motorcycle hit and injured a lady Shamali resident of Sarmarg at village Sarmarg in the jurisdiction of Police Station D.H Pora. The injured was shifted to Bone and joints Hospital, Srinagar for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries. After completion of medico legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites.

In another accident, a Motorcycle driven by Aijaz Ahmad Lone resident of Devsar collided with a School van bearing registration number JK18A-5114 of Noorani Public School Zangalpora at Devsar near Petrol Pump, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kulgam for treatment.

Kulgam police has registered cases regarding both the accidents.

In Budgam, a Passenger vehicle bearing registration number JK04A-7905 collided with a Tipper bearing registration number JK04A-6989 at Budgam near Choon Crossing, resulting in injuries to two lady passengers. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Budgam police has registered a case in this regard.

In Sopore, a Scorpio vehicle bearing registration number JK05C/7914 driven by Mohammad Ramzan Shah resident of Tulibal Sopore collided with s scooty bearing registration number JK05E/8394 at Sangri Watlab, resulting in injuries to scooty rider namely Muzaffar Ahmad Kabari resident of Kramshura Sopore and pillion mate namely Ishaq Ahmad Khan resident of Munshi Mah. Both the injured were shifted Sub District Hospital Sopore for  treatment where from scooty rider was shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital Srinagar for further treatment. Sopore police has registered a case in this regard.

In Bandipora, a Sumo bearing registration number JK05D-8019  turned turtle at Gurez road near  Peer Baba in the jurisdiction of Police Station  Pethkote, resulting in injuries to a lady namely Rukhsana resident of Bagtoor Gurez. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Bandipora for treatment. Bandipora police has registered a case in this regard.

In Kupwara, a Swift vehicle bearing registration number DL2C-AK/6629 driven by Zahid-ul-Hassan Malik resident of Hayan Kupwara hit and injured a child namely Sheikh Suhaib resident of  Bumhama at National Highway in the jurisdiction of Police Post  Drugmulla. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara, where from he was shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital Srinagar for further treatment. Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard.
